The worst thing that you can feel is to be apart from your family. Missing birthday parties, reunions, visiting a sick aunt, Christmas, new years, name it... when you work overseas, you miss a lot from home... including your family, friends, food, your own room, your dog... everything is different when you are in a foreign land and suddenly you feel alone.

"Ang Mali ay nagiging Tama sa Mata ng Bata"
"Ang Mali ay nagiging Tama sa Mata ng Bata"... bihira natin itong marinig na pinag uusapan dahil unconsciously, we adults are not aware that children do look at us as an example.
In the middle of a long line in a fast food chain last Saturday, April 16, 2011, I was able to encounter this first hand. Actually, its a little thing but it bugged me a lot.

Max Restaurant, Palpak to the MAX
Ate at MAX Restaurant, SM Mall of Asia, last December 26, 2010 to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Not too fancy but wishing to be able to get good food and good service as their reputation for the past years dictates.
The restaurant was not as full for the Mall just opened. It was about 10:30 so people was just coming in from a tiring celebration the day before.
